▲ 티웨이 항공이 1분기 영업이익 461억원으로 역대 최대 실적을 올렸다.


티웨이항공이 올해 1분기 역대 최고 실적을 기록했다.

티웨이항공의 1분기 영업이익은 461억원으로 지난해 같은 기간과 비교해 194% 증가했다. 매출액은 2038억원으로 나타나 전년보다 50% 늘어났다.영업이익률도 23%로 역대 최고치를 달성했다.

특히 올해 1분기 영업이익은 지난해 전체 영업이익인 471억원에 불과 10억원 미달할 정도로 고공 행진을 보이고 있다.


티웨이항공은 그간 인천은 물론, 대구와 부산, 제주 등 다양한 출발지 확대를 통한 유연한 노선 운영으로 기재 가동률을 높였다. 또한 무안-타이베이, 나고야-괌 등 현지에서 출발하는 효율적인 부정기편 운영으로 여행 수요에 선제적으로 대응했다. '번들 서비스’와 단체 항공권 예매 시스템 개편 등 소비자들에게
더욱 편리한 부가 서비스를 개발한 점 등도 1분기 실적 증대를 이끌었다.


이 같은 실적 증대의 원동력이 임직원이라는 '사람
중심'의 경영 철학에 따라, 티웨이항공은 올해 2월에 이어 8월에도 성과급을 지급할 예정이다.




















티웨이항공 관계자는 "지금의 약진과 경영
안정화를 이어가며, 올해 하반기 예정된 IPO(기업공개)의 성공적인 안착을 위해 더욱 노력해나갈 것"이라고 밝혔다
